Benishangul Defense Forces Attack RSF Positions Inside Ethiopia

Ethiopian opposition Benishangul Defense Forces launched a military attack targeting positions affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and elements described as South Sudanese mercenaries inside Ethiopian territory.

According to field reports, the attack was concentrated in the area of “Qamad,” located near the Sudanese border, where these groups are reportedly present.

Reports indicated that the opposition forces targeted militia positions and mercenary concentrations operating from these border areas as staging grounds for their movements.

The “Qamad” area is considered strategically significant due to its geographic location linking the Sudanese and Ethiopian borders.
