Suicide Drones Kill Civilians, Injure Dozens in El-Obeid

At least seven civilians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday in drone strikes carried out by the rebel terrorist Rapid Support Forces (RSF), targeting multiple locations in El-Obeid, North Kordofan State.

The city, which the army has turned into a forward operations hub for Darfur and Kordofan, has been repeatedly targeted by RSF-linked drone attacks aimed at impeding military advances westward and southward.

The Sudan Doctors’ Network said in a statement that the attack deliberately targeted residential neighborhoods, resulting in seven deaths and 22 injuries among civilians.

The network condemned the targeting of densely populated civilian areas, asserting that the strikes were not aimed at military objectives but rather at inflicting civilian casualties.
