TSC President Issues Promotions and Retirements for Senior Army Officers

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, on Saturday issued a series of sovereign decrees promoting a number of officers from various cohorts to higher ranks, while referring others to retirement.

The official spokesperson of the Sudanese Armed Forces affirmed in a press circular that the decisions are part of established institutional procedures regulated by military laws and frameworks, consistent with the organizational structure and the recognized chain of command.

The statement affirmed that such measures constitute routine administrative processes aimed at maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring leadership renewal, and preserving the integrity of military hierarchy in accordance with professional standards.
