Rights Group Reports Systematic Attacks on Humanitarian Operations

The Sudanese rights group Emergency Lawyers reported serious violations targeting humanitarian operations, including attacks on more than 50 warehouses belonging to the World Food Programme (WFP) and at least 15 aid convoys.

The group warned of a “systematic pattern” aimed at undermining international humanitarian law and obstructing the delivery of aid to affected populations.

According to its report, violations attributed to the RSF include looting warehouses, targeting humanitarian convoys, and imposing restrictions on the movement of aid organizations, significantly disrupting relief operations—particularly in Darfur, Kordofan, and other conflict-affected areas.

The report noted that documented attacks on aid convoys continued through February 2026, alongside widespread pillaging and destruction of logistics facilities, describing the violations as organized rather than isolated incidents.
