Army Regains Key Area in Blue Nile After Offensive on RSF Positions

 

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced a large-scale offensive against Rapid Support Forces (RSF) positions in the Shitio area of Blue Nile, reporting heavy losses among RSF fighters and the capture of significant quantities of weapons and ammunition.

 

 

The Fourth Infantry Division, known as the “Blue Nile Lions,” recorded a new battlefield advance, with its Special Task Force units pushing back RSF fighters and allied elements in the area.

 

 

According to the army, forces seized all weapons, ammunition, and military equipment abandoned by retreating fighters. The operation forms part of intensified field activities aimed at securing the region and eliminating RSF presence.
