Drones Strike Al-Duweim and Kosti in White Nile, Injuring Woman

The Rapid Support Forces (militia) shelled the cities of Kosti and Al-Duweim on Sunday morning using drones, with one drone falling in Al-Bayyara neighborhood in Al-Duweim near the command of the 18th Infantry Division, triggering panic among residents.

A security source told Ultra Sudan that a drone fell in Al-Bayyara neighborhood, injuring a woman who was transferred to Al-Duweim Teaching Hospital for treatment. Another drone reportedly fell near Al-Duweim Bridge, striking a water tanker truck.

The source indicated that the drone had targeted the command of the 18th Infantry Division, but jamming operations and interception by ground-based air defenses caused it to fall within a residential neighborhood instead of its intended target.

In a later development, a military source revealed that another drone targeted the city of Kosti about an hour after Al-Duweim strike, confirming that no civilian casualties were recorded in Kosti.
