Blue Nile Governor Signals Imminent Operations to Clear Region of Rebels
Governor of Blue Nile Region, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Al-Omda Badi, promised imminent measures to eliminate rebel presence in the region.
During the launch of intermediate school examinations at Bent Wahb School in Damazin, Badi praised the resilience of residents and students in Al-Kormuk locality against militia attacks.
He reaffirmed the region’s support for the Sudanese Armed Forces, stressed the failure of plots targeting national unity, and promised “imminent developments” reflecting full military control across the region.
More than 7,000 students are sitting for exams this year across 63 centers.
