For Sixth Consecutive Day, Militia Launches Airstrikes on El-Obeid
For the sixth consecutive day, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia continued as a systematic campaign targeting infrastructure and vital facilities in the city of El-Obeid, as one of its drones carried out a missile strike on Wednesday morning against one of the largest cooking oil factories in the area.
Local sources told Ultra Sudan that the bombardment caused extensive damage to the structure of the factory, which is owned by a prominent national businessman, amid public condemnation over the targeting of economic facilities that supply essential goods to citizens.
The attack forms part of a series of military operations witnessed in El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan State, which in recent days have affected various installations, including damage to educational facilities in the city. The repeated targeting of economic and educational infrastructure has raised widespread concern over the impact on basic services and regional stability as the armed conflict persists.
