Army Moves Closer to Breaking Kadugli Siege

Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia drones attacked the city of Al-Dalang, targeting locations and gatherings of civilians, according to local sources.

The militia, along with its allied Sudan People’s Liberation Movement led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu, is attempting to ease pressure on its forces positioned at Al-Tagatoa (the intersection), the last point of their presence along the road linking Al-Dalang and Kadugli.

In recent days, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) tightened control from Al-Dalang axis, securing the areas of Al-Karagl and Al-Deishoul. From the Kadugli side, the army controls Al-Kuweik, with its artillery reaching Al-Taqatoa and Barno, where militia forces are concentrated.

The SAF is now closer than ever to breaking the siege of Kadugli, should it succeed in taking control of Kiga Jiro and Hajar Al-Daleib.
