Police Leadership: Crime Rates Decline in the Capital

Khartoum State Police reported a marked decline in crime rates across the capital, citing the effective implementation of prevention and detection strategies.

The Director of Khartoum State Police, Lt. General (Police) Siraj Al-Din Mansour, chaired the regular meeting of the State Police Leadership Council at the state police headquarters, attended by directors of departments, localities, and administrative units.

The meeting reviewed the criminal and security situation in the state, noting a noticeable reduction in overall crime levels. Officials attributed the improvement to the execution of comprehensive crime-prevention and detection plans, alongside a decline in reports of robbery and public-order offenses.

Participants also received briefings on the administrative situation, operational procedures, and force readiness from the General Affairs Department. The meeting directed heightened attention to criminal investigations and strengthened administrative discipline within the force.
