Egyptian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Reinforce Calls for Ceasefire in Sudan

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdel-Atty, agreed with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on the necessity of a ceasefire in Sudan.

During a joint press conference the two ministers held in the New Alamein City, the Egyptian Foreign Minister reiterated Egypt’s categorical rejection of Israel’s intention to impose full military control over the Gaza Strip.

Abdel-Atty emphasized that Israel, as the occupying power, must allow humanitarian aid into the Strip.

Badr Abdel-Atty stated that the deportation of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip and areas in the West Bank constitutes a red line that cannot be accepted under any pretexts.
