Complaints of Increasing Attacks on Sudanese Refugees in Chad

The Protection Office of the Tina Emergency Chamber in the Ardami camp in Chad has complained of increasing attacks on Sudanese refugees.

In a statement obtained by Darfur 24, the office said that the latest of these attacks resulted in a refugee being seriously injured and being taken to the hospital for treatment. It indicated that Chadian authorities have arrested the perpetrators, hoping that they will be brought to a fair trial.

The office expressed deep concern about what it described as “the negative phenomena and ongoing violations” targeting refugees.
