Sudan’s Foreign Minister: Our country exposed to conspiracy… SAF is achieving great victories and is about to end the war
Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Youssef said that regular consultations with Egypt are important, particularly since they are both facing major issues and conspiracies.
The Sudanese Foreign Minister added, during a press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, Sunday, that his country seeks to work with Egypt to preserve the interests of the two countries and peoples.
He pointed out that their meeting was positive as usual, witnessing the discussion of various issues, and a comprehensive agreement was reached on the necessary steps to be taken within the framework of coordination between the two countries.
Youssef pointed out that he and the accompanying delegation conveyed to the Egyptian Foreign Minister the developments of the Battle of Dignity in Sudan, and the great victories achieved by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) within its efforts to restore the homeland that was exposed to a conspiracy, stressing that SAF is about to reach the end of this war with Sudan returning to what it was and better.
The Foreign Minister underscored that this is achieved through the efforts of the people of Sudan, and the people’s support for their army, appreciating Egypt’s genuine keenness on the stability of Sudan.
He noted that there is full coordination and agreement with Egypt regarding various issues, expressing his confidence that the coming period will witness extensive consultation on important issues such as the Nile waters and cooperation in the field of water.
He pointed out that they discussed the situation in the African continent and the Horn of Africa region. They also touched on the joint cooperation within the framework of the Arab League, as there is a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Arab League during the month of February within the framework of the current session, to prepare for the Arab Summit.
He noted that they discussed the upcoming elections that will be held in the African Union, and preparations for the summit that will be held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.
