(Yielding 100,000 pills per hour)… Sudanese Intelligence Service seizes RSF huge drug factory

The General Intelligence Service, (Al-Muntasir Billah) advancing unit, and the Khartoum State Security Body (Khartoum Bahri Security Sector) were able to seize a factory for manufacturing Captagon narcotic pills belonging to the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The militia was hiding the factory inside a three-story building under construction in the new industrial zone near the Rotana Flour Factory in the Al-Gaili area, which was used by the militia.

In order to mislead, the militia disguised the machines as animal feed manufacturing machines imported from one of the countries in the region known for producing Captagon, after taking control of the area during the war.

Large quantities of raw materials were seized, including powder used in drug manufacturing (estimated at $3 million), presses for extracting pills (Abu Hilalain – Abu Najma), and mixed materials prepared for manufacturing (a paste), estimated at $3 million. The raw materials currently in the factory are enough to produce 700 million pills.

The factory’s drug production is very high and fast, (100) thousand pills per hour.

The production is used for consumption by the Rapid Support Forces militia to motivate its elements in battles and control them, besides promoting the pills among citizens to bring in funding and smuggle the rest abroad, mainly neighboring countries.
