WHO: Malaria deaths in Sudan amounted to 7,900

The World Health Organization (WHO) revealed that there were 3.4 million malaria cases in Sudan, including 7,900 deaths.

WHO representative in Sudan, Shible Sahbani, announced the onset of a large-scale vaccination campaign in Sudan against the disease, as Sudan represents half of the number of malaria cases in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
