What did “Kaykal” say in his first appearance after being wounded?
Commander Abu Agla Kaykal made his first appearance after sustaining a minor injury.
In a video posted on the official Facebook page of the Sudan Shield Forces in Kordofan, he affirmed that his presence on the ground remains a symbol of his forces’ resilience.
In a brief message, he said, “Even if fate strikes me, or I am killed or wounded, the Shield will remain.
” Kaykal appeared on the front lines in Kordofan alongside Brigadier Ahmed Youssef Al-Darhamdi, the Shield’s North Kordofan operations commander, and several field commanders, in a scene reflecting the leadership’s continued monitoring of military operations from the heart of the battlefield.
On Tuesday, the Sudan Shield Forces announced that they had carried out a successful military operation in Umm Sayala area of North Kordofan State.
They confirmed that they inflicted heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in both personnel and equipment, despite the massive troop build-up and repeated reinforcements deployed by the latter in three successive ground waves, supported by drones and heavy artillery.
