U.S. Report: 31 New Mass Graves Discovered in El-Fashir

A report issued by the Humanitarian Research Lab at Yale University’s School of Public Health has revealed compelling evidence of mass atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the city of El-Fashir.

According to the report—which relied on satellite imagery and open-source data—31 sites containing mass graves have been identified, along with visual evidence of mass killings carried out inside public buildings, including hospitals, shelters, and service facilities that had been housing civilians.

The images taken on October 27 and 28 showed clear soil disturbances and the appearance of dark-colored objects believed to be human bodies around the former Children’s Hospital, the Saudi Hospital, and the Red Crescent office—all of which were under RSF control at the time.

The report concluded that these violations may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, calling for an urgent international investigation and accountability for those responsible for the atrocities.
