Two Sudanese refugees arrive in Kufra, one with gunshot wounds

The Emergency and Ambulance Service in the Libyan city of Kufra, located on the border with Sudan, has announced the reception of two Sudanese refugees via the 2.2 border crossing. One of them was shot in the jaw by unknown gunmen, believed to be bandits, inside Sudanese territory, according to the person’s testimony.
The Emergency and Ambulance Service explained, in a post on its official Facebook page, viewed by Darfur 24, that it transported the injured, both Sudanese refugees, to the Martyr Attiya Al-Kassih Hospital in Kufra.
According to the post, the first victim, Amin Adam, 20, was shot as a result of an armed robbery inside Sudan, while the second, Hassan Mursal Issa, 56, suffers from stomach health problems.
The Emergency and Ambulance Service indicated that the hospital immediately began providing the necessary examinations and treatment for them.
It is worth mentioning that Libya hosts thousands of Sudanese refugees, particularly in the eastern cities of Kufra, Benghazi, and Ajdabiya, as well as Misrata and Tripoli in the west.
