Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister arrives in Sudan

Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Burhanettin Duran arrived in Sudan on Saturday on a one-day official visit accompanied by a high-level delegation.

The visit is to touch on a number of issues, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s initiative to mediate between Sudan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) regime. The bilateral relations between the two countries will also be reviewed.

Duran is also expected to meet with President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, and a number of state officials.
