TSC President to Visit Ankara for Talks with Erdoğan

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, is set to visit Turkey in the coming days for talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on developments in Sudan and bilateral relations.

The visit comes as part of an external tour Al-Burhan recently launched, which has included Riyadh and Cairo, and is expected to extend to Doha.

Turkey is regarded as one of the key supporters of the Sudanese government during the ongoing war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces militia. Ankara has repeatedly affirmed its backing for Sudan’s state institutions amid escalating security and humanitarian challenges in the region.

Diplomatic sources said the talks between Al-Burhan and Erdoğan will address bilateral cooperation, Turkish political and economic support, and Ankara’s efforts to help promote stability in Sudan.
