Trump Adviser: No “Luxury of Time” Amid Hemeidti’s Violations in El-Fashir
Senior Adviser to the U.S. President Donald Trump, Massad Boulos, stated that America does not have the “luxury of time” in the face of the ongoing violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in El-Fashir. He affirmed that what the world has witnessed in El-Fashir is painful and unacceptable.
In remarks to Al-Arabiya, Boulos confirmed that meetings have been held with senior officials from both the Sudanese government and the RSF militia. He acknowledged that U.S. mediation has engaged both sides but noted that the discussions have not yet reached the level of formal negotiations.
Boulos revealed that Washington has proposed a three-month humanitarian truce in Sudan, stressing the need for both parties to accept it.
