At (Jalha) Footsteps … RSF militia liquidates its most prominent commanders in Al-Gezira

Local media revealed the killing of Abdullah Hussein, one of the most prominent field commanders of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), during the battles taking place between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and RSF militia in Al-Gezira State in central Sudan.

The journalist at Al-Jazeera Channel Abdel-Raouf Taha stated that a senior official in the Darfur Regional Government told him that Abdullah Hussein intended to surrender to SAF, therefore he had contacted his native administration. According to Abdel-Raouf, the official believed that Abdullah Hussein was liquidated by the militia commanders.

The RSF militia commandership had liquidated the commander Jalha, who descended from Misseriya tribe, for previously mocking the militia commander Hemeidti and for trying to withdraw the sons of his tribe from the RSF militia.
