The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia shot 14 civilians near El-Fashir. The militia released a video documenting the heinous crime. According to the video, the militia executed a merchant on his way to bring goods into El-Fashir using beasts of burden. The Janjaweed killed him and the camel he was using, looted his property, and celebrated their victory over his body.

The Janjaweed platforms and mouthpieces justified the terrorist incident by saying, “The Operations Command issued a decision stating that anyone who attempts to bring in food supplies or fuel will be punished by firing squad without trial.”
