Sum of $121 Billion Expected in Funding for Projects in Sudan

Sudan’s Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri, has projected that investments and funding totalling $121 billion will flow into the country in the near future, aimed at supporting projects in livestock, aquaculture, and the poultry sector across all states.

Al-Mansouri emphasized that this initiative is part of an ambitious strategic plan to harness Sudan’s vast natural resources, transforming them into a major contributor to the national treasury and a key driver of the country’s reconstruction. He noted that this comes despite challenges and conspiracies led by the rebellious Rapid Support Forces militia, which seek to destroy Sudan’s infrastructure and productive capacity.

The minister further explained that his ministry is currently implementing 37 vital projects, including the establishment of fully integrated animal production cities in each Sudanese state. These cities will serve as advanced centres for animal production and processing, operating according to international standards.
