Sudan’s Interior Ministry: Measures to Deport Foreigners from Residential Areas to Specific Camps

Sudanese Interior Minister Lt. Gen. (Police) Khalil Pasha Sayreen has revealed measures to deport foreigners from residential areas to camps.
A high-level delegation from the Ministry of Interior arrived in Khartoum, about three weeks after the army recaptured most of the state, including state institutions, after fierce battles that forced the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to retreat to western Omdurman and withdraw from the outskirts of Khartoum.
In statements following a meeting with the Khartoum State government, Sayreen said that “measures are in place to deport foreigners to specific camps and remove them from the center of neighborhoods, in line with the state’s vision regarding foreign presence.”
He announced his support for close cooperation between the components of the Khartoum State Security Committee, through joint action and the security cell, to eliminate the phenomenon of outlaws impersonating regular forces.
