Sudan’s Intelligence Service: Sanctions on Al-Burhan threaten peace and stability in Sudan
The Sudanese General Intelligence Service announced its rejection and condemnation of the decision issued by the US Treasury Department against President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan Abdel Rahman, a decision that lacks the simplest standards of justice and fairness, and is based on false allegations that have no nothing to do with the reality.
The Intelligence Service called on America to use its influence and political weight to pressure the militia and the supporting parties to cease the war.
The Intelligence Service confirmed that the sanctions on -Burhan are a threat to peace and stability in the country, and a blatant violation of the will of the Sudanese people, who unanimously rallied around the armed forces and their commander-in-chief, who has continued to lead the battle of dignity against the terrorist militias.
The statement explained that the decision reveals clear confusion and double standards and represents support and encouragement for the militia to go on in its violations against the people and is considered a betrayal of the victims.
