Sudan’s Former Prime Minister Passes Away… Al-Burhan Orders His Body to Be Airlifted to Port Sudan
The former Prime Minister in the Government of National Salvation, Mohamed Tahir Aila, passed away this Monday morning in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, after suffering from illness.
The late Aila was considered one of the prominent leaders of the National Congress Party in eastern Sudan. He was born in 1951 in Jabeit, Red Sea State.
Meanwhile, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, directed that Aila’s body be transferred from Cairo to Port Sudan by a private plane, according to the Saudi Al-Sharq Agency.
