Sudan’s Foreign Ministry: Hemeidti’s Militia Cooperates with Terrorist Groups to Spread Chaos in the Region

The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation warned of the danger posed by the expansion of the rebel militia’s activities and its attempts to create chaos in the Sahel, the Horn of Africa, and border regions — posing a threat to regional and international security.

The ministry pointed to indications of coordination and cooperation between the militia and terrorist groups as well as negative movements in the region aimed at spreading chaos and exploiting resources.

In a press conference organized by the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil held the international community responsible for the crimes committed in the city of El-Fashir, saying, “We have witnessed silence, even from countries we consider brothers, which have continued to open their territories to the militia.”

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the regional and international positions that condemned the massacres, violations, and assaults against the Sudanese people and expressed solidarity with them in the face of aggression, describing such atrocities as “a stain on the conscience of humanity.”
