Sudanese warplanes destroy a cargo plane loaded with weapons in Neyala

A Sudanese warplane destroyed a foreign cargo plane loaded with weapons and ammunition as it attempted to land on the runway at Neyala Airport at dawn on Tuesday.

Military sources said that a Sudanese warplane surprised the plane that penetrated Sudanese airspace and bombed it after it landed on the runway at Neyala Airport.

The plane was loaded with weapons and ammunition to supply the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia.

International reports issued by UN experts and international news agencies have previously confirmed the presence of suspicious planes taking off from specific airports in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and arriving in Neyala and other dirt airstrips with the aim of arming the militia with modern weapons.

It is worth mentioning that the UAE had informed the Biden administration that it had stopped supplying the militia with weapons, and it is expected that the US administration will send a detailed report to Congress on January 17 to verify this claim of weapons.
