Sudanese Prime Minister directs security and increased police presence in Khartoum
Prime Minister Kamel El-Tayib Idris directed the intensification of police deployment in Khartoum State and the securing of all neighborhoods, government sites, and strategic facilities in the state.
Kamil Idris met, on Sunday, with the Director-General of the Police Forces, General Khalid Hassan Mohieddin, who briefed him on the overall security situation in all states of the country and the police forces’ action plan for the coming period.
Kamil Idris directed controlling and regulating foreign presence in the country, particularly in Khartoum State, noting that securing the state and providing all services are among the government’s top priorities for the coming period.
