Sudanese Intelligence thwarts Smuggling of Gold Alloys Aboard

 

The General Intelligence Service in the state of Kassala thwarted an attempt to smuggle large quantities of gold, following a tight ambush carried out on the national road, targeting a Toyota pickup vehicle model 2016, based on accurate intelligent information and close follow -up.

 

 

According to Intelligence sources, 10 gold bars were found in the initial inspection that were tightly hidden inside the car, weighing 19.5 kilograms. After taking legal measures and opening an initial lawsuit, additional information led to a re -inspection of the vehicle, as 13 other alloys weighing 25 kilograms, bringing the total seize of gold to 44.9 kilograms.

 

 

The operation was carried out by a specialized team from the Intelligence Service of Kassala, where an official lawsuit was taken and legal procedures began in the face of those involved in the attempt to smuggle.
