Sudanese Intelligence Chief Concludes U.S. Meetings with CIA Director and Pentagon Officials

Sudanese General Intelligence Service Director, General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, concluded a series of high-level and extensive meetings in Washington and New York, resulting in a significant strategic agreement between Sudan and the United States. Both sides agreed to firmly reject any attempts to divide Sudan and reaffirmed that they would not recognize any parallel government in the country. This represents substantial political support for Sudanese legitimacy in facing current challenges and efforts aimed at undermining the unity of the state.

Diplomatic sources told Al-Sharq that Mufaddal held talks with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and officials from the Department of Defense (Pentagon), focusing on counter-terrorism issues and joint security coordination between the two countries.
