(Sudanese Hacker) Takes Chadian Banks Out of Service
The group (Anonymous Sudan) announced that it has taken all Chadian banks out of service by targeting them in an electronic attack in protest against Chad’s support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The group threatened to return Chad to the “Stone Age” if Chad did not stop supporting the militia. (Anonymous Sudan) is an active Sudanese hacker group.
On October 16, 2024, the US authorities accused two Sudanese brothers, Ahmed and Ala`a Omar, of founding and managing the group, which previously launched attacks targeting the Israeli air defense system called the Iron Dome on October 7, 2023, when the Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa was launched.
(Anonymous Sudan) said that we have taken down all Chadian banks and their servers are still down and out of service all over the world. It continued “What happened were simple attacks and resulted in the leakage of about a million passwords, databases, and important and sensitive accounts that will be leaked to the public at a later time.” It added, threateningly, “This is a warning to stop supporting the militia, and next time we will take you back to the Stone Age and you will see it with your own eyes.”
