Sudanese government bans regular figures, employees, officials and chieftains of native administrations from visiting foreign embassies

Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Acting Prime Minister issued a directive regarding the visits of some regular figures, employees and former officials in government institutions as well as a number of chieftains and leaders of native administrations to a number of foreign embassies without following official procedures.

Minister of Culture and Information, the official spokesman for the government, Dr. Graham Abdel-Gadir, said that the Minister of Cabinet Affairs directed all concerned parties not to liaise with foreign embassies and missions except through the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the delegates accredited for this purpose, and that the Federal Ministry of Government Chamber should organize communication for the leaders of native administrations in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
