Sudanese factions submit memo to Juba Peace Agreement’s mediators and Al-Burhan to take part in power

 

A number of parties to the peace process that signed the Juba Peace Agreement submitted a memorandum to the Head of the Southern Sudan Mediation Committee demanding the implementation of the Juba Peace Agreement as stipulated in the National Issues Agreement.

 

 

Mohamed Seed Ahmed Sir Al-Khatim, Head of the Sudanese Northern Entity, told Al-Shorouk that “the Northern Entity, which he heads, the Sudan Liberation Army – Commandership Council – led by Ali Hamid Shakoush, the Kush Liberation Movement – ​​led by Osama Dahab, and the Third Front – Tamazuj – led by Akasha Suleiman” submitted this memorandum to the Head of the Southern Sudan Mediation Committee.

 

 

He added that another memorandum would be submitted today, Saturday, to General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, Head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, demanding the summoning of the mediation committee to resolve the controversy over the rights and duties stipulated in the provisions of the Sudanese Peace Agreement, which was sponsored by the State of South Sudan in 2020.
