Sudanese authorities continue evacuation of refugees from the capital

The Commission for Refugees, in coordination with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), organized a new convoy to evacuate South Sudanese refugees from Khartoum to White Nile State.

The convoy transported dozens of families, accompanied by protection and registration teams from both the Commission and UNHCR, as well as security forces.

Authorities confirmed that the evacuation program will continue in order to relocate refugees to permanent camps, despite challenges posed by recent heavy rains and difficult weather conditions.
