Sudanese Army: So-Called Ceasefire by Lying Rebel Hemeidti Is a “Ruse”

The official spokesperson of the Sudanese Army asserted that the so-called ceasefire announced by the lying rebel Hemeidti is merely a misleading political and media manoeuvre aimed at covering up their field movements and the continuous Emirati support that fuels the war and kills Sudanese citizens.

The army statement revealed that the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia targeted the city of Babanusa in West Kordofan with a new attack, which the forces successfully thwarted with strength and decisiveness.

The statement indicated that this approach continues the militia’s pattern of misleading the international, regional, and local public opinion, even as the leader of the terrorist Al-Dagalo militia declared a unilateral ceasefire and truce.

The Armed Forces (SAF) affirmed their commitment to international humanitarian law, the protection of civilians, and the facilitation of humanitarian work.

SAF stressed that they will not allow the humanitarian situation to be exploited as a cover for military movements that exacerbate the crisis, and they will continue to fulfil their duty in protecting the state and citizens with full responsibility and capability.
