Sudanese Armed Forces Announce Destruction and Seizure of Dozens of Militia Vehicles in Darfur and Kordofan

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) issued a military statement detailing field operations over the past 24 hours, affirming that the army and allied joint forces repelled large-scale attacks launched by the Al-Dagalo terrorist militia across multiple fronts, inflicting heavy losses in personnel and equipment.
According to the statement, SAF and joint forces successfully thwarted a violent assault in Al-Tina axis in Darfur, pursuing retreating militia elements and causing significant damage. The operation resulted in the destruction of 35 combat vehicles and the seizure of 49 additional vehicles fully equipped, alongside dozens of militia fatalities.
In Al-Dalang, SAF engaged in a “heroic battle,” repelling an attack by the militia and its mercenaries. The confrontation ended with the destruction of five combat vehicles and the capture of four more, in addition to the seizure of motorcycles and communication devices used by the attackers.
In Bara, the official spokesperson stated that forces engaged in intense fighting, inflicting considerable losses on the enemy before field command decided to reposition troops outside the town in accordance with operational assessments. Meanwhile, ground air defenses in El-Obeid announced the downing of an enemy “strategic” drone targeting the area earlier Tuesday.
SAF concluded its statement by paying tribute to the martyred, wishing a swift recovery to the wounded, and reaffirming its firm resolve to continue military operations until the entire territory of Sudan is cleared of the rebel militia and security and stability are restored nationwide.
