Sudan Voices Concern Over Developments in Yemen
Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has expressed deep concern over recent developments and unilateral measures undertaken by Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council in the governorates of Al-Mahra and Hadramout, warning that such steps threaten efforts to restore security and stability.
In a statement received by Sudanese Echoes, the ministry affirmed Sudan’s full solidarity with the Yemeni people, the Presidential Leadership Council, and the Government of the Republic of Yemen in their pursuit of security and stability.
The statement also stressed the importance of cooperation among Yemeni forces to de-escalate tensions, prioritize the national interest, and spare the country further unrest and division.
