Sudan, Pakistan Hold Talks in New York

Sudan’s Prime Minister Kamil Idris met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Both sides affirmed the depth of historical relations between the two countries.

Sudan expressed its gratitude to Pakistan for its continued support at the United Nations and in international forums.

The two sides also stressed their keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields.

It is to be recalled that Pakistan holds a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
