Sudan Expresses Solidarity with Turkey over Iranian Aggression

Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdelfattah Al-Burhan, held a phone call with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss regional developments in light of the ongoing war in the Middle East.
During the call, Al-Burhan affirmed Sudan’s support for Turkey following the blatant Iranian attacks on its territory. He emphasized that the Sudanese government and people stand in solidarity with Turkey and its citizens in facing this aggression, which violates Turkey’s sovereignty and security. He also highlighted the close cooperation between Sudan and Turkey across various fields.
President Erdoğan expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Al-Burhan’s call, praising Sudan’s solidarity with Turkey in response to the recent attacks and commending the advanced level of Sudanese–Turkish relations.
