Successful Army Airdrop in Al-Dalang

The Sudanese Armed Forces carried out a successful airdrop operation for the 54th Brigade Command in Al-Dalang, South Kordofan State.

A senior military source told Darfur 24 that the first airdrop took place in the city of Al-Dalang. Shipments included soldiers’ salaries, food supplies, medical and military equipment for the 54th Infantry Brigade.

Eyewitnesses reported that the shipments landed in Al-Tomat neighborhood, south of the city, at around 9:30 a.m.

These air operations came amidst the difficult siege conditions in the city, where the army faces significant challenges in delivering supplies by land.
