Special Forces complete cleaning of suspicious neighborhoods in El-Fashir from militia elements

Warplane sorties in El-Fashir and the city’s surroundings have killed hundreds of militia elements and destroyed a number of combat vehicles, at the same time that the escape rates from El-Fashir have increased.

The Sixth Infantry Division said, in a press circulation, that warplanes targeted militia gatherings in El-Fashir and destroyed three combat vehicles, killing and wounding dozens of militia elements. The army succeeded in dispersing a militia force that was coming towards El-Fashir in the southeast direction of the city.

The circulation confirmed the continuation of intensive escape operations by militia elements from the vicinity of El-Fashir. The division explained that the continuous escape has greatly reduced the phenomenon of infiltration into El-Fashir neighborhoods for the purpose of theft.

The commander of the Special Forces in El-Fashir, according to the circulation, reported the completion of cleaning operations in the suspicious neighborhoods and houses southeast of the city from negative phenomena, while securing all internal roads.
