Sisi urges lifting of El-Fashir siege to prevent more than million people’s deaths

The Head of the National Movement Forces, Tijani Sisi, has urged the lifting of El-Fashir’s siege to prevent the death of more than a million people in the city.

Sisi emphasized to “Darfur Now” that lifting the siege of El-Fashir, Dilling, and Kadugli is not an issue for Darfur and Kordofan alone, but rather an issue for all Sudanese.

He added, “Just as we fought together and liberated many areas of Sudan, we must now fight to lift the siege of these cities.”

He stated that they are against all separatists who call for the division of Sudan, and continued, “The homeland will remain one.”

He added, “The battle is not over yet… Some of our people in Kordofan and Darfur are still living in misery under the control of the militias.”
