Shocking toll of militia drone deaths and injuries over 3 months

The Sudanese Doctors Network has revealed that 125 civilians were killed and injured by drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the past three months.

The network’s spokesman, Dr. Mohamed Faisal Hassan, said, according to Ultra Swan, that the RSF’s drones killed 35 people and injured 90 others in the past three months.

He noted that Khartoum State recorded 3 deaths and 13 injuries, El-Obeid recorded 21 deaths and 47 injuries, and Atbara recorded 11 deaths and 22 injuries.

He explained that Port Sudan recorded 17 injuries, including 9 cases of suffocation who were transferred to Port Sudan Hospital for treatment. He emphasized that these statistics do not include El-Fashir, as deaths there occur as a result of artillery shelling and direct clashes.

The spokesman condemned the militia’s continued targeting of civilian facilities and populated areas. He called on UN and international organizations to pressure the Rapid Support Forces to halt its escalating violations against defenseless civilians, particularly in large, densely populated cities, in clear defiance of all international resolutions.
