Sheikh Al-Amin: Prophet Muhammad was a (Businessman)… an (Elegance) is Required

The famous and controversial Sufi Sheikh Al-Amin Omar Al-Amin said that he was a businessman and a sheikh. He made it clear that he follows the guidance of the Messenger and Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in matters of money because the Master of Humanity was a businessman.

Sheikh Al-Amin said, in an interview with the Sudanese Echoes platform, that Sufi culture is like coffee; it is placed in different containers, but it remains coffee. However, the appeal of coffee lies in the external appearance of the container in which it is placed. He explained that he did not change anything in the religion. He continued, “We want the Sufi to be a businessman, a doctor, and an engineer.” He added, “We want the Sufi to smell beautiful, to live a beautiful life, not to abandon the world, and to care about his appearance, his smell, and his livelihood.”

Sheikh Al-Amin emphasized that there was a clear difference between asceticism and nothingness. He added, “elegance is important and required.”

In response to accusations that he targeted a specific class of young people to join his sect, he defended himself and underscored that he targeted young people because they are the pillars of the future.
