Serious Escalation: Sudan Reveals “Ethiopian Aerial Aggression,” Reserves Right to Respond

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued a strongly worded statement disclosing ongoing airspace violations over Sudan by drones originating from Ethiopian territory, targeting sites deep within Sudanese territory.

The Sudanese government confirmed that it had closely monitored this repeated “hostile behavior” throughout February and the beginning of March, describing it as a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and a direct aggression against the Sudanese state.

The Ministry issued a direct and firm warning to Ethiopian authorities against continuing such provocative acts.

The statement emphasized that Sudan will not hesitate to exercise its legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, affirming the country’s readiness to confront these aggressions through all available means to deter the attacks and protect national security.

This development comes amid border tensions in the region, making Ethiopia’s drone provocations a dangerous escalation with potentially serious consequences for regional stability.
