Saudi Arabia warns Al-Dagalo militia: Targeting vital facilities in Portsudan and Kassala threatens Arab national security

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned on Sunday the targeting of vital facilities and infrastructure in Portsudan and Kassala, Sudan, stressing that it poses a threat to regional stability and Arab and African national security.
This came in response to the strikes on Sudanese airports by suicide drones.
In a post on its X account on Sunday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for an immediate end to the war in Sudan and to spare the country and its people further suffering and vandalization.
The Kingdom reiterated its affirmation that the end to the crisis is Sudanese-Sudanese political solution, respects the sovereignty and unity of the country, and is based on supporting state institutions.
The Kingdom also affirmed its rejection of these violations, stressing the need to provide protection for civilians and implement the provisions of the Jeddah Declaration (Commitment to Protecting Civilians in Sudan) signed on May 11, 2023.
