Saudi Arabia Announces Readiness to Purchase Sudanese Gold
Saudi Arabia has announced the opening of its markets to purchase Sudanese gold, leveraging its expertise in supply chains, logistics services, and integrated laboratories spanning the entire value chain from exploration to production.
Minister of Minerals, Nour Al-Daim Taha, discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and develop a strategic partnership in the mining sector with the Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, on the sidelines of the International Mining Conference held in Riyadh.
In a press statement, the Sudan Mineral Resources Company said that Sulaiman Salih Al-Othaim, Chairman of the Saudi Gold Refinery Company, announced his company’s readiness to immediately enter into gold purchasing operations, drawing on its advanced capabilities in supply chains, logistics, and integrated laboratory services from exploration through to production.
