SAF takes control of the reserve camp and Shalla prison in El-Fashir

The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the supporting forces in El-Fashir recaptured the central reserve camp and Shalla prison in El-Fashir from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

The militia had attacked El-Fashir on Friday with more than 60 combat vehicles, most of them armored.

The army launched a coordinated attack on the militia and recaptured and liberated the reserve camp and Shalla prison in El-Fashir.
